Declaration of Scientific Principle
- In memory of Thomas Jefferson (October, 2003) -
When in the course of scientific endeavor, it becomes apparent that deeper truths
exist, a decent respect to Nature requires that such truths be explored.
We hold these truths to be scientifically approachable, that all forms of existence
are interconnected, that they possess certain fundamental and unalienable
properties. That to describe this interconnectedness and these properties,
successive theories shall be constructed by mankind, deriving their
explanatory and predictive powers from the approximations of laws of Nature.
That whenever any theory becomes inadequate of these ends, it is the duties of
mankind to modify it or to abolish it, and to establish new ones, laying
the foundation on such principles and organizing the structures in such forms,
as to mankind shall seem most likely to reflect their understanding and
knowledge of Nature.

We Have a Dream: A Call to All Men and Women of Science and Religion to Rise Up
(html) (pdf) (pdf with headings)

The Tao should be spiritual as well as scientific. Since we are all made out of the same subatomic, atomic and genetic alphabets, the scientific Tao we seek should be one and the same whatever our race, religion and other differences.

All things by immortal power, Near and Far, Hiddenly To each other linked are, That thou canst not stir a flower Without troubling of a star. ~A Poem by Francis Thompson ~

How Mind Interacts with Brain through Electric Spin Effects

Ontology Author(s): Huping Hu & M. Wu

ABSTRACT

Electric spin effects are effects of electric fields on the dynamics/motions of nuclear/electron spins and related phenomena. Since classical brain activities are largely electric, we explore here a model of mind-brain interaction within the framework of spin-mediated consciousness theory in which these effects in the varying high-voltage electric fields inside neural membranes and proteins mediate mind-brain input and output processes.

Thinking Outside the Box III: How Mind Influences Brain through Proactive Spin

Ontology Author(s): Huping Hu & M. Wu

ABSTRACT

Benjamin has written an article entitled “Dark Chemistry or Psychic Spin Pixel?” which promotes a “dark chemistry” model of mind and discuss the spin-mediated theory. This hypothetical chemistry is based on the hypothetical axion dark matter. Although Benjamin is commendable for boldly going where no one has gone before, he may find himself still in the “bright” territory instead of the “dark” side, if he is willing to use Occam’s razor to cut out “dark” things and replace them with non-local effects.

News: SGI Establishes Scientific GOD Prize

STI News
SGI Establishes Scientific GOD Prize

DEDICATION

Over the course of human history mankind brought forth on this planet, two chief systems for exploring Nature and Life, one of them is Religion and the other Science, both conceived for seeking Truth, and both dedicated to the survival and advancement of mankind. Now humanity is engaged in a great war with itself over and within Religion and Science, testing whether they so conceived and so dedicated can be reconciled and advanced.

Whilst fighting my own battle of that war with the weapons of scientific methods and the conviction that both shall be greatly advanced and united one day, I have come across many great intellects such as David J. Bohm, Nikolai A. Kozyrev, John S. Bell and many others yet to be named or discovered. By this Dedication, Scientific GOD Institute hereby honors those brave intellects throughout known human history who directly or indirectly but greatly contributed towards the reconciliation and advancement of Religion and Science.

But, as Abraham Lincoln would declare, in a larger sense, one can not dedicate – one can not compose on – this place. Those brave intellects, living and dead, who struggled, have composed it, far above one’s poor power to add or detract. The world will little note what we say here but can never forget what they have done. It is for rest of us, rather, to be dedicated in our heart to the unfinished work which they who fought have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be dedicated to the great task remaining before us -- that from those dedicated we take increased devotion to the cause for which they have given their full measure of devotion -- that we in our heart highly resolve that they shall not have fought in vain – that both Religion and Science shall have a new birth -- and that mankind shall advance and shall not perish from the earth.

In Memory of Abraham Lincoln (June 5, 2007)

Thinking outside the box II: The Origin & Implication of Gravity

Ontology Author(s): Huping Hu & M. Wu

ABSTRACT

Although theories and speculations abound, there is no consensus on the origin or cause of gravity. Presumably, this status of affair is due to the lack of any experimental guidance. In this paper, we will discuss its ontological origin, implications and potential applications by thinking outside the mainstream notions of general relativity and quantum gravity.

Evidence of Non-local Chemical, Thermal and Gravitational Effects

Ontology Author(s): Huping Hu & M. Wu

ABSTRACT

Quantum entanglement is ubiquitous in the microscopic world and manifests itself macroscopically under some circumstances1, 2. But common belief is that it alone cannot be used to transmit information3 nor could it be used to produce macroscopic non-local effects. Yet we have recently found evidence of non-local effects of chemical substances on the brain produced through it4, 5. While our reported results are under independent verifications by other groups, we report here our experimental findings of non-local chemical, thermal and gravitational effects in simple physical systems such as reservoirs of water quantum-entangled4 with water being manipulated in a remote reservoir.

Photon Induced Non-local Effects of General Anaesthetics on the Brain

Ontology Author(s): Huping Hu & M. Wu

ABSTRACT

Photons are intrinsically quantum objects and natural long-distance carriers of information in both classical and quantum communications. Since brain functions involve information and many experiments have shown that quantum entanglement is physically real, we have contemplated from the perspective of our recent spin-mediated consciousness theory on the possibility of entangling the quantum entities inside the brain with those in an external anaesthetic sample and carried out experiments toward that end.

Thinking Outside the Box: the Essence and Implications of Quantum Entanglement

Spin as Primordial Self-Referential Process Driving Consciousness

Ontology Huping Hu & M. Wu

ABSTRACT
We have recently theorized that consciousness is intrinsically connected to quantum mechanical spin since said spin is embedded in the microscopic structure of spacetime and is more fundamental than spacetime itself, that is, spin is the “mind-pixel.”

News: Scientific Tao Institute is entering implementation phase

STI News According to Dr. Huping Hu, Scientific Tao Institute (STI) is entering implementation phase. The purpose of STI is to conduct scientific inquiries on the nature and origins of life, mind, physical laws and mathematics and their possible connections to a scientifically approachable transcendent Existence - he calls "Scientific Tao."
